As the business tourism bureau we provide free advice and connect meeting organisers with venues, accommodation and services available, assisting with partner and delegate in-destination programs.
WHAT ARE THE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS?
All enquiry is referred to our members who reap the benefit – around $5 million of direct inquiry to Toowoomba Conferences in the 2017-18 financial year was referred to our members.

BUSINESS TOURISM IS DRIVING TOURISM IN THE REGION
Toowoomba is the largest city within Southern Queensland Country SQC region, one of the 11 leisure tourism organisations attracting holiday and VFR visitors funded by the state’s peak tourism body, Tourism & Events Queensland.
Since the formation of SQC in September 2012 and according to data released by TEQ, business tourism is a proven winner driving the visitation growth and spend to the region, as seen below*. For the YE December 2017, 24% of all visitors to the region came for business purposes#.
