Location:

Cobb+Co Museum is part of the Queensland Museum Network and is home to the National Carriage Collection. It is on Toowoomba's CBD fringe at 27 Lindsay Street, a short walk from CBD accommodation through Queens Park via Margaret Street.

Meeting facilities:

Cobb+Co Museum offers unique spaces in which to create a memorable event as part of your conference or meeting. A tour of the Museum or a heritage trade demonstration can be integrated into the experience with our range of spaces perfect for:

  • Conference meet and greets
  • Presentation dinners
  • Networking functions
  • Awards ceremonies
  • Daytime partner/spouse events
Please note, availability of some of these spaces is dependent upon the museum's current exhibitions, and heritage trade demonstrations are subject to artisan availability. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Disability access is very important to Cobb+Co Museum and the following facilities and accessible experiences are available:

  • Wheelchair accessaible entrances
  • Ramps throughout
  • Disability toilet and shower facilities
  • A wheelchair for complimentary use within the museum
  • Exhibitions have elements that can be seen, heard and touched
  • The Queensland Government's Companion Card program is recognised
  • Auslan interpreters and Audio Describers can be made available upon request

Parking:

Extensive free parking is available at the front of the museum on Lindsay Street and on the ring road between the Museum and Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE.

Other facilities:

Cobb+Co Museum can integrate a true museum experience with events by incorporating museum tours and heritage trade workshops or demonstrations.
