5. Readily accessible
Toowoomba is an easy 90-minute drive west from Brisbane by car or coach, with direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and other regional Queensland locations.  Jet capable Wellcamp Airport opened at the end of 2014 with QantasLink flights from Sydney and Airnorth from Melbourne connecting Toowoomba nationally.
